Founded in 1983, Norfil is a company that produces a wide variety of low carbon steel wire products used in thousands of different applications. Norfil also builds and refurbishes wire machinery.

The company has two manufacturing facilities that total 80 000 square feet. The main manufacturing facility produces low carbon wire, annealed wire and straight and cut wire. The other facility produces galvanized wire, epoxy coated wire, florist wire, nails and coat hangers. These two facilities are located at Norfil's headquarters in Chambly Quebec.

Norfil's presence in the wire industry is notable by its unique ability and willingness to serve its customers. In fact, the company's main competitive edge is just-in-time delivery of small and/or large orders. The company can achieve this thanks to its lean and flexible organization and to its large inventory of finished products.
